About me

Hi! I'm Danilo Canguçu — a creative developer with a background in visual storytelling and a passion for building thoughtful, resilient web experiences.

I'm currently collaborating with The Quo, a Helsinki-based collective that has worked with clients like the City of Helsinki, Finland's Ministry of Justice, Swappie, and Aalto University.

I studied Information and Communication Technology at Ålands Yrkesgymnasium, specializing in Cloud and DevOps. I've also completed the Full Stack Open course from the University of Helsinki, including an extra module on TypeScript, and graduated from Integrify Academy's Full Stack program, with additional training in Java and Spring.

These days, I work as a freelance full-stack developer, mostly with (and not limited to) React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS. I enjoy building clear, accessible websites — always with long-term maintainability in mind. I'm particularly drawn to teams and projects that care about inclusivity, sustainability, and well-structured code.

Originally from Salvador, Brazil, now based in Mariehamn, Åland Islands, I’m open to work opportunities across Finland or remotely.
